KERERU CORTEN

KERERU CORTEN

The Kererū, also known as the New Zealand Woodpigeon is known for its voracious appetite and portly appearance. These birds are full of character and are often seen weighing heavily on branches after feasting. They are precious to New Zealand forests as they can swallow whole fruit and disperse the seeds over large distances.

This Kererū is made from Corten® steel. Also known as weathering steel, it forms a protective rust coating over time giving your garden art a wonderful patina.

This Kererū measures approximately 42cm high x 14 cm wide including its spike. For extra height, we recommend one of our garden stakes to give your garden art some extra lift.

Are you giving Kererū as a gift? Be sure to add a gift box for the perfect ready-to-go present.

Kererū is made in a solar-powered workshop in Wairarapa, New Zealand.
