MANUKA NATURAL RICH DAY CREME

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring biopolymer, it is a highly effective humectant i.e. an ingredient that holds moisture. HA can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water which helps keep the skin smooth and plump.  The content of hyaluronic acid in the skin decreases with age, which may contribute to the development of fine lines and wrinkles. 

HA also supports the formation and maintenance of collagen, an important connective tissue. Collagen degradation is believed to cause a decrease in skin tone and elasticity.

Avocado (Persea Gratissima) Oil

Derived from the pulp and seed of the fruit and rich in nutritive and conditioning properties such as Vitamin A, B1, B2, D & E making it ideal for dry, dull skin.  Avocado oil leaves a protective barrier on the skin to help prevent moisture evaporation.

Rosehip (Rosa Canina) Oil

Rosehip Oil is very beneficial to the skin as 80% of its constituents are essential fatty acids, namely oleic acid, linoleic acid and linolenic acid.  These are known as essential fatty acids making this oil ideal for mature skins, prematurely aged and devitalised skin.

Rosehip oil also contains Vitamins A & C which help soothe and heal scars and recurring dry skin conditions.
