Key ingredients:

Vitamin E (Tocopheryl)

An anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory which has been shown to have a positive effect on wound healing and possesses the ability to retard the conversion of soluble collagen to insoluable collagen (which is responsible for scar tissue formation). 

Vitamin E is a natural oil and a strong anti-oxidant which helps prevent the formation of free radicals on the skin. This helps protect the skin against damage from environmental stresses that can cause these free radicals to be present such as ultraviolet radiation and pollution.

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring biopolymer, it is a highly effective humectant i.e. an ingredient that holds moisture. HA can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water which helps keep the skin smooth and plump.  The content of hyaluronic acid in the skin decreases with age, which may contribute to the development of fine lines and wrinkles. 

HA also supports the formation and maintenance of collagen, an important connective tissue. Collagen degradation is believed to cause a decrease in skin tone and elasticity.

Camellia Seed Oil

Camellia Oil is very high in Oleic acid (it has the highest concentration of all natural oils) and also contains other essential fatty acids such as Omega - 6 Linoleic acid.  Oleic acid is deeply penetrating and can permeate into the lower levels of the stratum corneum.
